Through the Intact Better Communities Program, Storm was awarded a charitable grant of $1500 to be given back to our Atlantic communities. With this, Storm was able to make a $500 cash donation to its charity partner, Feed Nova Scotia and provide $250 worth of healthy snacks to four elementary schools in the Dartmouth, Bridgewater, Kentville and New Glasgow areas. These schools had all expressed a grave need for healthy snack options for students who need to fuel-up throughout their school day.
This grant is the second awarded to Storm through the Intact Better Communities Program. In October, 2019, Storm was awarded $3000 through the Program for charitable initiatives in its Ontario region. This grant was donated to the Burlington Community & Family Services office of the Salvation Army.
